Charitable Donations
Current Position
In the past the P.G. & N.J. Boulton Trust has welcomed requests for funding. We are currently undergoing a long term review of our policies and this means that in practice, we are currently only making donations to organisations to whom we have an existing commitment. This unfortunately means that any new requests for funding at the present time will almost certainly be unsuccessful.
Policy
Although we are not generally accepting new requests for funding at the present time, here is nevertheless a statement of our general funding policy.
- Main Commitment - Our giving is largely restricted to organisations and activities that are of special interest to the trustees and this is largely concentrated in the area of Christian missionary work.
- Other Areas - The Trust has from time to time made donations in the following areas:-
- Disaster and Poverty Relief
- Medical Research and Healthcare
- Disability Relief and Care of Elderly
- Exclusions - Although the trustees would be sympathetic to many such causes, we regret that the following areas fall outside the scope of our activity:-
- All direct grants to individuals
- Environment and Conservation
- Culture and Heritage
- Sport and Leisure
- Animal Welfare
- Church Building Repairs
